The practice provides speech therapy services to patients in Pretoria. Both in-hospital patients and out-patients are seen. Patients are referred primarily by Ear-, Nose- and Throat Surgeons, Neurologists, Specialist Physicians and other medical professionals. We work closely with different medical professions as well as our allied medical colleagues including radiography, physiotherapy and dietetics. We also do home visits in Pretoria for patients unable to travel to our offices.

“I love all of speech therapy (except the admin!) but has a special passion for doing video-swallows, working with ICU patients, helping laryngectomy patients to speak again and treating patients with psychogenic voice disorders.
I also love roaming hospital passages and chatting to colleagues in passages about anything and everything medical. I need a good dose of daily contact with people to keep my going!”

As a speech therapist I am blessed to be in the perfect position to do what I was called to do – to serve.
I have and will always love working with children and babies, but working in Leanie’s practice gave me a passion for working with adults with various diagnoses. It is difficult to choose a single specific area in our scope as a favorite because I really enjoy working with all of the people with interesting cases that we see.
I have one furr-baby of my own and like to do photography and ballet in my free time as well as spend time with loved ones.

I am a passionate Speech Therapist bringing my Zillennial (Gen Z & Millennial) flare to the team.
I enjoy multidisciplinary work and working with all populations from tiny neonates to wiser geriatrics. I am yet to find my niche, and currently enjoy all things Speech Therapy! I do, however, have a special love for paediatric neurology and adult dysphagia.
My hobbies include all things cats as well as creating content to advocate for our profession and patients. I believe there is more in giving than in receiving and am so grateful to be part of this profession.
